Ode to My Sweet
'Brother' Tuck
You were a pal, a buddy, a brother, a lover Your low loud bellow was just a cover For
you were so sweet and loved life so much No one could deny giving you a loving touch
A rub on the belly, rolling
around on your back You taught me that life was about the pure simple acts
Who will guard the kibbles
now?? Who will show us how - to fill the void to fill the silence to fill the special place you left
behind??
As I sat, prayed and cried while the life was fading from your sweet eyes You only wanted one more
hug, one more kiss, one more belly rub. I hope it was enough.
Oh my Sweet Brother Tuck God
took you so fast Oh my Sweet Brother Tuck You are missed so much
Oh my Sweet Brother Tuck You now
grace the angels with your sweet melody Oh my Sweet Brother Tuck May the angels repay you with belly rubs of glee
Oh my Sweet Brother Tuck May your tail wag for eternity Oh my Sweet Brother Tuck How we miss thee!!!!!
The Loss of A Good Friend
It is with deep regret that I announce, today, December 23, 2010 the Coffee County Humane Society has lost a good friend and founding member, Ken Preiser. We had just talked to Ken a few days before the Christmas Party held on December 16, 2010; Ken had also helped us with the party setup on that day. Ken was a champion and advocate for all the animals of Coffee County and had a very special relationship with his German Shepherd, EL. We had not known Ken for very long but always appreciated this positive attitude and wonderful intellect. He was truly a delight to engage in conversation. He showed such a joy for life as he drove his Red Mustang or his Black Ford F-150.
Ken's passing will be a major loss for his family and friends. Please keep the family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
Funeral arrangements are pending and a follow-up email will be sent as soon as we are informed.
